Repossession Specialist

Job Description

• To coordinate the repossession and timely disposal of property that serves as collateral on company loans and leases.

• To control delinquency on outstanding leases two or more months past due and to collect the outstanding balance on lease receivable items.

Duties

· Works accounts at every stage of delinquency through charge-off.

· Coordinates the repossession process

· Coordinates the sale of repossessed property

· Ensures compliance and proper documentation for all processes and expenses related to repossessions

Additional Skills & Qualifications

· Collections experience is preferred, but not required.

· Must have computer knowledge and quick data entry.

· Solid computer skills and a good understanding of Microsoft programs.

· Ability to work on the telephones if needed.

· Data entry/organization skills, basic understanding of record keeping, and process oriented
