We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Driver with a Hazmat endorsement to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting hazardous materials to multiple destinations, while also assisting in loading and unloading the truck at each stop. Must be willing to drive as far as Connecticut and be okay driving through the NY metro area.

salary: $46,000 - $61,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a commercial vehicle with a Hazmat endorsement.

• Transport hazardous materials to various locations, following all federal and state regulations.

• Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery and multiple stops.

• Assist in loading and unloading cargo at each stop, ensuring proper handling and securement.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week

Skills
