The Supplier Carbon Solutions Program will help meet Apple’s 2030 goal by transitioning suppliers to carbon neutrality for their Apple-related operations. This transition hinges on our suppliers having access to cost-effective and high quality decarbonization solutions.

Key Qualifications

• 10+ years of renewable energy investment, project development and project finance

• Creative approach to renewable deal-structuring. Strong understanding of drivers of renewable energy deal success.

• Welcomes debate and is collaborative while also driving to a decision

• Team player. Ready to roll up sleeves, as needed

• Strong communicator, able to convey difficult topics in simple terms and get to the heart of matters

• Strong interest in Asia, with occasional travel to Asia, as needed

• Corporate development experience a plus

• Experience in deals to support broad decarbonization (e.g. efficiency, electrification, etc.) a plus

Description

Works closely with environment program team to take renewable energy targets (e.g. MWhs, MMT C02, date online, location, community benefits, etc.) and turn them into a project/deal pipeline and portfolio Structures renewable energy deals (e.g. equity investments, power purchase agreements “PPAs”. Single deals or fund structures) as appropriate, by energy market to achieve the strategic objectives of Apple and/or Suppliers (For example, see Apple investments in Japan and China. See Apple and supplier investments in China Clean Energy Fund) Effectively maximizes talent in Asia (within Apple or third party) for pipeline creation, deal development and deal execution Works closely with internal cross functional partners (e.g., tax and accounting, legal, procurement and government affairs) to develop, negotiate and execute deals Autonomous and confident decision-maker that is also collaborative and ensures buy-in of key internal stakeholders

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $174,900.00 and $263,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
