Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, performing analysis, and supporting financial reporting activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing variances.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and trend identification.

• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

• Assist with external audits and provide support to auditors as needed.

• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.

• Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
