As an Electrical Mechanical Technician , you are on point-to-point wire checks, troubleshooting, and repairs on next-generation light rail, locomotives, and coaches.

What you will be doing:

  • Perform electrical point-to-point wire checks on light rail, locomotive, and coaches

  • Troubleshoot, document, and repair electrical and mechanical failures

  • Work with innovative dialogistic test equipment.

  • Understand and align with company and industry safety standards.

  • Communicate with others, verbally and in writing, technical information, job procedure recommendations, and other work-related information.

  • Able to work independently and among a team with multi-disciplinary backgrounds.

  • Read, interpret, and understand written or electronic schematics.

  • Installing and removing test equipment

What you will need to be successful:

  • High school diploma (or GED)

  • 1+ years’ experience in relevant field

  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting

The base salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA, is $43,600 - $58,900. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
