Join our dynamic team at a leading Southeast Electroplating and Coating company in Piedmont, SC. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician Level 3 to join our maintenance department on 2nd shift. As a Maintenance Technician Level 3, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and systems, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate will have a great ability to troubleshoot independently and possess expertise in electrical systems, schematics, mechanical/blueprints, pipe/valve technology, hydraulics/pneumatics, inventory control, and sensors.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Mechatronics graduates are preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.

This is a direct hire only role offered through Randstad

salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM

Responsibilities

  • Independently troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

  • Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.

  • Conduct inventory control and manage spare parts inventory.

  • Utilize knowledge of pipe and valve technology to repair and maintain systems.

  • Diagnose and repair hydraulics and pneumatics systems.

  • Calibrate and maintain sensors and other monitoring devices.

  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment performance and reliability.

  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians when necessary.

  • Timely completion of maintenance requests

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment

  • wearing steel toe shoes

Skills

  • Electronic Maintenance (3 years of experience is required)

  • Mechanical Maintenance (3 years of experience is required)

  • Blueprints (3 years of experience is required)

  • PLC (3 years of experience is required)

  • CMMS (3 years of experience is required)
