Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager 3 for Belmont University located in Nashville, Tennessee . Belmont University draws more than 8,200 students who represent every state and more than 28 countries. The campus sits on 93 picturesque acres that are located just two miles from downtown Nashville, Tennessee, a dynamic and vibrant hub for government, healthcare, music, tourism and more. This production Manager will handle all the purchasing, inventory management and vendor relationships for the unit and be responsible for the post production data. 80% purchasing and inventory and 20% cooking, coaching and managing staff. Must have a valid drivers license to apply. Relocation assistance is available.

The successful candidate will:

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;

  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;

  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;

  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or

  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
