Job title: Installer Assistant

Salary range: $10.33 -- $20.00 /hour - Pay is based on existing skills and experience.

Sub-contractor for two of the world's largest home improvement retailers is looking for an assistant installer. This is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills or advance your current skills.

Experience in construction is helpful, but not mandatory. I am looking for an individual that possess the following skills to learn this trade:

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and carefully (minimum of 50 -- 80 pounds).
• Ability to learn.
• Patience to carefully move expensive, delicate products around expensive and delicate finishes without damage.
• Willingness to take direction and instruction.
• Understand how to read a tape measure accurately.

What you'll do on the job:

Assists with the installation of granite countertops.

Moves granite slabs up and down stairs.

Loads and unloads granite slabs from trucks onto carts.

Loads and unloads tools.

Prepares and cleans up worksites.

Requirement for employment:

Reliable transportation to Company main office.

Must pass a drug screen and background check.

18 years or older.

General knowledge of construction (preferred).

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
