Within the Industrial Automation business, Honeywell Intelligrated is a leading North American-based provider of intelligent automated material handling solutions that drive fulfillment productivity for retailers, manufacturers, and logistics providers around the world. The Material Handling Equipment portfolio includes conveyance, sortation, palletizing, robotics, and associated software and services products and offerings.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Product Manager for electronic controls will be responsible for partnering with Honeywell Process Solutions to jointly develop launch a series of new controls, including PLCs, I/O modules, and displays. These controls will be used in the full range of solutions in the Intelligrated portfolio. This product manager will also work to manage the portfolio of controls we use and offer customers in the rest of our portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the Intelligrated product roadmap for electronic controls, prioritizing short- and long-term needs for growth

  • Partner with Honeywell Process solutions to launch a series of new electronic controls to expand into new markets

  • Ensure compelling go-to-market strategies, with a close watch on orders say/do performance and identify corrective actions when products are not performing to expectations.

  • Works with business leaders and Chief Strategy Officer to prioritize and drive strategic alignment

  • Partners with Chief Technology Officers to evaluate disruptive technologies, promoting ideation and driving strategic and operational decision making

  • Thinks creatively about markets and adjacencies in which Honeywell plays and recommends attractive areas where it can invest in R&D and invest to acquire similar or adjacent products which will accelerate Honeywell’s growth

  • Support growth day and breakthrough initiatives with data backed insights and deep vertical understanding

MUST HAVE

  • 5 years of experience in product management or related role

  • 3 years of experience in an industrial B2B business

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a mathematical, scientific, engineering or business discipline

  • Prior knowledge or experience in logistics, warehouse automation, industrial safety and/or sensor technologies

  • Assertive, facilitative, & positive a self-starter, with a get-things-done attitude. Ability to apply sound judgment to strategic planning and annual planning processes

  • Global mindset & the ability to work with remote teams

  • Strong personal computing skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel

  • MBA
