JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job responsibilities include constructing PV mounting racks and installing PV modules under supervision for commercial and residential sites. The position requires following schematics, written instructions, and verbal directions. The work includes mounting PV panels on roofs, trellises, and ground-mount racks. The position may occasionally require assisting electricians with installing inverters and associated electrical equipment under supervision. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ideal position for a person who is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and self-motivated. Previous solar, construction, engineering, or electrical experience or training is strongly desired. The work is physically demanding and involves heights. After the mounting racks are constructed, solar modules are individually carried and positioned repeatedly on roofs and weigh up to 75 pounds.
