A growing Manufacturing company is in need of an efficient Senior Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis in the Loveland, Colorado area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Located in Loveland, Colorado, this Senior Accountant role is with a company in the Manufacturing field.

Your responsibilities

• Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

• Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives

• Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

• Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

• Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

• Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

• Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

• Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  Requirements - Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus

• Practical knowledge of SOX

• Adeptness in enterprise resource planning

• Knowledge of GAAP Accounting

• Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation experience preferred

• General familiarity with general ledger

• SEC Reporting experience highly preferred

• Improve Efficiency experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in Audit Compliance

• Comprehensive knowledge of financial statement preparation

• Prior work done in public accounting is desired

• Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload

• Experience with ERP systems

• Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

• Be detailed, flexible, and organized

• Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
