Become an Energy Efficiency (EE) Operations & Analysis Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and help build a better tomorrow. In this role, you’ll lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of EE Program Performance Dashboards and support the implementation of Advanced Energy Solutions dashboards. You will also conduct data analysis to prepare performance insights that inform operational decisions. Your responsibilities include gathering critical program data from various sources, such as customer feedback, dashboard-based metrics, and monthly reports from both third-party implementers and internal teams. This data will be analyzed to extract performance insights that can help improve the effectiveness of EE programs. You will also be accountable for ensuring that trends in this data are correctly reported to internal and external stakeholders. Beyond data-related tasks, this role is vital to the success of assigned programs. You will provide key thought partnership to EE program managers and leaders.

Developing, maintaining, and enhancing EE Dashboard capabilities for EE leaders, program managers, engineers, and analysts – including:
Responsible for developing or enhancing existing dashboards using Power BI
Providing monthly updates, recommendations, and risk assessments
Leading workshops in gathering requirements and facilitating user acceptance testing phases
Partnering with EE Systems and Technical Support team to ensure data integrity across various system sources
Performing analytics and developing insights to improve program effectiveness/efficiency - including:
Maintaining and reviewing in detail all program performance data (e.g., 3rd party monthly progress reports, SCE collected customer feedback, metrics like cycle times / % of re-work/ approval rates, inspections dashboards)
Synthesizing insights and trends for discussion with EE Senior Leadership Team, Program Managers, Engineering team, Implementers, and supporting stakeholders
Managing compliance and administrative activities according to our Customer Programs & Services policies and procedures manuals – including:
Assembling data for reporting to California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) on customer savings resulting from incentive programs
Supporting EE Annual Report by reviewing and validating accuracy and completeness of financial and non-financial data
Supporting program managers in reviewing payments to ensure consistent with contractual obligations
Ensuring data quality and integrity to inform data-driven decision analysis
The essentials
Five or more years of analytical and project support experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Cloud Suite (e.g.Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc...)
The preferred
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Economics, Administration, Information Technology, Data Science or related field
Experience using Power BI and/or creating dashboards
Two or more years’ experience in internal controls and/or contract management
Working knowledge of Investor-Owned Utility-led Energy Efficiency programs, policies, and methodologies
Familiarity with Contract Management concepts and principles and/or Internal Controls supporting Demand Side Management Contracts and compliance activities, including audits and data requests
Strong oral/written communication skills, including presentation skills to effectively communicate and interact with personnel at all levels
Experience working effectively and being flexible in a variety of situations, including those involving uncertainty, lack of information, and changing circumstances
You should know
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
