A global Energy company in Downtown Houston is seeking a Consolidation and Reporting Advisor to join their team. Hybrid schedule. Responsible for the Consolidation and related Financial Reporting and Controlling over 50 entities. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, multi-entity consolidations, US GAAP and IFRS. CPA is a bonus. Duties

• Responsible for accounting tax holdings reporting, including comprehension of the complex tax transactions, liaison with the tax team and reporting to US Top Management and group

• In charge of reporting financial activities under IFRS

• Consolidate entities into the US GAAP financial statements

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for the US Holding Companies in compliance with IFRS. Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results. Coordinate, review, and distribute monthly management reports for US Holdings.

• Provide technical accounting support and prepare technical accounting memos when needed to support accounting treatment under IFRS

• Lead liaison to the external audit team for the management and coordination of the quarterly financial audit.

• Prepare lead schedules to support quarterly and annual IFRS financial audit reviews by the external audit team

• Complete Ad Hoc requests and Other projects throughout the year as needed

  Requirements

Qualifications / Experience required

• BBA Degree in Accounting

• 5 to 10 years of Accounting Experience

• CPA and/or MBA preferred
