Honeywell Construction Project Manager - Commercial Buildings in Hillsboro, Oregon

As a Commercial Construction Project Manager in Building Automation, here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing complex programs and projects within our organization. You will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and managing stakeholder relationships. Your expertise in program management will be instrumental in achieving operational excellence and driving business growth.

You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you'll work out of Portland, OR starting on a remote basis with walk-abouts onsite every two weeks while the building is being built, then you will be stationed in the building 5 days/week. This is an FTE role, but the project is anticipated to last approximately 1.5 year.

In this role, you will impact the organization by:

  • Leading and managing the execution of complex programs and projects

  • Developing and implementing program plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources

  • Monitoring program performance and ensuring timely delivery of milestones and deliverables

  • Identifying and mitigating risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful program outcomes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the execution of complex programs and projects

YOU MUST HAVE

  • PMP certification or equivalent (or willingness to obtain PMP certification)

  • 5+ years of experience in program management or project management

    • Experience starting constructions jobs from scratch

    • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies and tools

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
