The successful candidate can expect to:

  • Support the sales side of the business from a technical and commercial perspective.

  • Respond to customer enquiries.

  • Technical and Commercial support for Sales Engineers.

  • Contract and risk assessment creation.

  • Initial design support for sales enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical customer liaison.

  • Research and development for the business.

  • Support commercial customer liaison.

  • Generating technical sales proposals and contracts – RFQ.

  • Carry out initial risk assessments for new projects and programs quoted.

  • Convey customer requirements to internal project teams at initial Value Stream Gate reviews.

  • Produce supporting costs and data packages for new projects in accordance with the sales process.

  • Providing technical support for Sales Engineers and internal sales team members – primarily onsite.

What you need to succeed?

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant Professional Degree or equivalent

  • An awareness of Design principles and manufacturing techniques

  • Presenting technical information

  • Microsoft Excel

Desirable Criteria:

  • Technical experience within a manufacturing organisation, preferred

  • Experience and familiarity with the company’s products and line of business
