We are seeking a Motor Development Specialist to join our team at our program in Warminster, PA. The Motor Development Specialist will implement programs recommended by the Occupational Therapist and/or Physical Therapist to assist individuals develop basic functional skills. This employee also is responsible to maintain communications between the Occupational and Physical Therapy Departments and all other members of the interdisciplinary team. Training and consultation will be provided by the Occupational and Physical Therapists and work performance will be directed by the Program Directors. Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A high school diploma is required. Experience working with individuals with IDD and physical disabilities is required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or certification from an approved OT or PT Aide course is preferred. Experience in training preferred.
