It's a big task and there is more: You'll also be asked to connect with established events that show great promise and offer assistance in enhancing the event. The core of the job is to develop an annual event strategy and budget then plan, facilitate, and manage logistics for all events in the annual strategy, including budgets, sponsors, contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, decor, marketing materials, and independently troubleshoot day of event issues. It should go without saying, but we'll say it anyway ? it's extremely likely the events will occur over weekends, so you'll be required to work the weekends the events you've planned are happening.
