he Operator Specialist is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of one production line within the Foams thermoforming department.

Shifts: 12 hour shifts 7am to 7pm (Day Shift) 7pm to 7am (Night Shift) every other weekend off!!! 2,2,3 schedule

Pay Rate: \$22.55 to \$25.30 an hour

Plus \$1.50 Night Shift Differential

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Successfully complete all Pactivevergreen led training for Packer/Specialist position; assist in training, as needed
• Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation, including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization
• Trouble shoot, identify, and correct machine related problems
• Completes appropriate paperwork
• Able to inspect and recognize defective product
• Adheres to all housekeeping, standard work, food safety, and personal safety guidelines
• Support maintenance team and department during line change over and start-up
• Perform quality inspections and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects
• Provide coverage at the Packer and Operator level and cover multiple lines for short periods of time to cover for breaks/call-ins.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of experience as Machine Operator in the plastics manufacturing industry
• Prior experience operating thermoforming machines
• Demonstrated abilities as a team player, good cooperation, and communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
• Ability to understand and follow SWIS (Standard Work Instruction Sheets)
• Team Player attitude
• Ability to set and manage priorities
