Specific Duties: 1. Receive laboratory reagent kits and other inbound inventory, including: • verifying all data required by the lab, including lot number and expiration date • matching receipt to packing slips • accurately entering received items into the inventory system • organizing and storing received items based on date of receipt and lot number 2. Issue kits to departments on a pre-scheduled basis and enter issuance data into the inventory system upon receipt of authorized forms. 3. Maintain entry of new products in the inventory system. 4. Interact with lab technicians regarding special requests and to coordinate delivery to the floor. 5. Interact with lab managers concerning current and future storage capacity requirements. 6. Review expiration reports for timely utilization or disposal, and maintain data on expired product disposal.
