+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | | *JOBE MATERIALS IS HIRING | | | FOR IMMEDIATE POSITIONSFOR CDL | | | CONCRETE DRIVERS. | | | | | | Apply by contacting Adrian | | | Sanchez (915) 472-3202 - SIGN-ON | | | BONUS!* | | | | | | Experience: Must have a | | | minimum of 2 years of experience | | | driving with a CDL License. | | | | | | Language:Communication in | | | English or Spanish | | | | | | Education: Minimum of a High | | | School Diploma or GED | | | | | | Computer Skills: No computer | | | skills are needed but can be | | | helpful | | | | | | Valid Driver's License: A | | | valid driver's license and a | | | clean driving record are required | | | to be able to be insured to | | | operate a company vehicle. | | | Type of Driver's License: | | | Class A or B commercial license. | | | What will they be driving? | | | Company Concrete Mixer truck | | | and/or Dump Truck | | | | | | Other Requirements: | | | | | | - Must have a good driving | | | record. | | | - No more than 2 moving | | | violations in the last 3 | | | years. | | | - Must be able to pass a | | | Driving record background | | | check and drug test. | | | - Candidates must be 25 years | | | of age to be considered. | | | | | | Duties: | | | | | | - Check vehicles to ensure that | | | mechanical, safety and | | | emergency equipment is in | | | good working order. | | | - Follo appropriate safety | | | procedures for transporting | | | dangerous goods. | | | - Inspect loads to ensure that | | | cargo is secure. | | | - Maintain logs of working | | | hours or of vehicle service | | | or repair status, following | | | applicable state and federal | | | regulations. | | | - Secure cargo for transport, | | | using ropes, blocks, chains, | | | binders, or covers. | | | - Maneuver trucks into loading | | | or unloading positions, | | | following signals from the | | | loading crew and checking | | | that vehicle and loading | | | equipment are properly | | | positioned. | | | - Report vehicle defects, | | | accidents, traffic | | | violations, or damage to the | | | vehicles. | | | - Obtain receipts or signatures | | | for delivered goods and | | | collect payment for services | | | when required. | | | - Drive trucks with capacities | | | greater than 3 tons, to | | | transport and deliver | | | products, cement, or other | | | materials. | | | - Check all load-related | | | documentation for | | | completeness and accuracy. | | | - Read bills of lading to | | | determine assignment details. | | | - Collect delivery instructions | | | from appropriate sources, | | | verifying instructions and | | | routes. | | | - Drive trucks to weigh | | | stations before and after | | | loading and along routes in | | | compliance with state | | | regulations. | | | - Couple or uncouple trailers | | | by changing trailer jack | | | positions, connecting or | | | disconnecting air or | | | electrical lines, or | | | manipulating fifth-wheel | | | locks.
