Estimator

• Location:  Carolltown, PA (This is not a work from home position)
• Pay Rate:  Salary (depends on experience) - There is a commission on top of salary 

• Schedule:  Monday to Thursday -- Day Shift

What will you be doing?

• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Maintains contact and relationships with private individuals and other organizations.
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements.
• Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.
• Continually updates technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Performs all other related duties as assigned. 

    

What are the Job Requirements?

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator for a sub-contractor.
• Expert knowledge of building materials, labor costs, and steel construction techniques.
• Proficient in Blueprint Reading and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical, computer and mathematics skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and attention to detail abilities.
• Drug Screen
