The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, be highly organized, a good problem solver, efficient, and must be detailed oriented.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain transport schedule, transport truck needs and for hire work. Communicate any issues or concerns with General Superintendent and Truck Supervisor as needed.
  • Ensure all supervisors are notified of all upcoming transports incoming or outgoing.
  • Monitor and track all equipment daily on location and security.
  • Manage equipment and vehicle down list- coordinate with Fleet Manager on any issues.
  • Monitor asset inspections every Monday for completed/not completed and report on deficiencies.
  • Manage Users/Roles in Tenna, including terminations. (add, remove or update as needed).
  • Set-up New Hires with login information for Tenna, train on how to complete inspections and submit maintenance requests.
  • Ensure new projects have geofences installed and maintained for accuracy.
  • Manage assets in Tenna as we buy, sell or change operators (add, remove or update as needed).
  • Monitor any jobsite geofence alerts on weekends and report to management.
  • Monitor and report any issues with GPS equipment or tracking of Tenna with Fleet Manager and coordinate with Tenna.
  • Update and add inspection forms as needed in Tenna.
  • Monitor Equipment Utilization and send Utilization reports.
  • Assist field employees with vehicle registration-replace if needed, print insurance cards and maintain oversize permits. Revise and file form 2290 for heavy highway vehicle tax and renew the SCAC certification when needed.
  • Monitor fuel levels, prices, availability and replenish inventory as needed. Any changes in prices or availability should be communicated immediately.
  • Answer phones/door and direct people as needed.
  • Report all year end milage and hours on Equipment List.
  • Manage employee/equipment utilization and checkout process for personal use.
  • Manage Rental equipment and report any issues.
  • Keep a running log of Tenna issues.
