Architect Design Representative - JR2413439

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As an Architect Design Representative, you are a key specification driver establishing, maintaining, and growing our architectural specification share through our commercial paint products and color tools. This role is a system approach to non-traditional selling requiring on-site recommendations, mentorship, and project meetings with owners, architects, interior designers, product specifiers, general contractors, and key corporate accounts. You will work with these business partners to generate specifications and color schedules to paint and maintain new and existing commercial buildings and monumental projects. You will report to the Specification Area Manager. This position is remote with travel to Ohio, Pittsburgh, and New York, but you can be based out of areas between Pittsburgh, PA and Cleveland, OH.

Key Responsibilities * Identify, establish, and maintain key partner relationships in effort to build strategic account partnerships and defined programs - emphasis should be to improve share and revenue potential with a goal of supply exclusivity by building sales agreements * Explore product systems on the technical side and the color schedules on the design side while maintaining a high-level understanding of complexity and proficiency of both. * Carry technical paint system conversations with specification writers and discuss color schemes with interior designers.

Qualifications * 5+ years of shown experience in specification and color design work with a proven track record of success with prior sales experience. Or relatable outside business to business sales experience with specification knowledge * Construction Management Degree and/or equivalent experience to influence Architectural Paint Specifications. * Customer centric relationship building in person, virtual and verbal. * Strong public presentation skills and competency in front of various audiences
