Property Accountant (Staff or Senior level)

Salary: up to $90k depending on experience

Our client is searching for an accountant to take the place of a retiring employee. Small firm with a family office vibe. Great hours 8:30a-4:30p!! This position will take responsibility for all accounting related to their managed properties.

Responsibilities will include:

· Prepare and examine financial statements

· Reconcile bank statements and open new bank accts

· Handle AP by communicating with vendors

· Develop and analyze annual budgets

· Daily transaction reconciliation

· Cash flow management

· Journal Entries

· Oversee delinquency/Collections.

· Investments/Cash Management oversight

· Month and year end processes for customers

· Coordinate preparation of Tax Returns with CPAs

· Creation of coupons and statements

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Accounting degree and/or 7+ years of previous experience in accounting

· Experience in real estate, property management, working with HOA's or other relevant experience

· Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

· Detail and deadline-oriented

· Strong communication skills as you will be interacting with clients

· Self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team

Software experience with Jenark, Cinc or similar is a plus
