FirstService Residential Community Operations Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Job Overview:Â Â

As a Community Operations Manager,you’llbe responsible forsupporting the Community Association Manager throughtimelycompletion of assigned administrative and project duties. You will holdexpertisein the areas of lease administration, income/expense management and administration, and resident relations.Â

This opportunity is available in the Lakeshore EastÂneighborhood of Chicago, Illinois.Â

Your Responsibilities:Â Â

  • Organize andmaintainall homeowner and administrative files and perform annual association file cleanoutin accordance withcompany standardized hard copy and electronic system.Â
  • Manage and process all leases within the building, including uploadingleaseto Connect and tracking of leases through the Master Lease List.Â
  • Maintain a level of service excellence in all interactions with residents, vendors, staff, and colleagues with knowledge and enforcement of the Community Governing Documents.Respond to client communications and address issues within one business day.Â
  • Assemble Board Packets in a clean, orderly, and professional fashion.Â
  • Update and generate required association and management reports as instructed by the Community Manager.Â
  • Manage all moves, deliveries, staging, and resident contractors for elevator use,utilizingmove calendar, including collection of move fee and deposit, and obtainingappropriate documentsand proof of insurance.Â
  • Coordinate printing and electronic distribution of monthly newsletter, as well as uploadingdocumentto Connect and Community Website.Â
  • Update and generate required association and management reports as instructed by the Property Manager.Â
  • Monitor and address resident disputes asrequiredand build a positive relationship between residents and management.Â

Skills & Qualifications:Â Â

  • Active Community Association Manager license in the state of Illinois.Â
  • Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions. Â

  • Mustpossessa high energy attitude and an ability to multi-task/prioritize different projects at any given time.Â

  • Superior oral and written communication skills.ÂÂ
  • Community management experience or equivalent professional experience in a related field strongly preferred.Â
