Good Shepherd Communities is looking for a dependable and compassionate CNA to join our talented nursing team!

Position Detail

Friday - Monday weekend block; must work between the hours of Friday 7am and Tuesday 7am. Typically, the same shift.

64hours/ bi - weekly pay period = benefit eligible

Good Shepherd Fairview Home has 34 residents on our Long-Term floor and 20 residents on our rehab floor = very minimal floating

Good Shepherd Village at Endwell has 32 residents on the Long-Term floor = no floating

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides quality direct care and services to residents. Promotes person-centered care for optimal quality of life. Duties include helping residents with activities of daily living. Additional duties include helping to support a clean-living environment, facilitating patient care and communicating with healthcare team and family members.

Essential Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred

License: Active New York State CNA Certification (Required)

Qualifications: BLS and/or CPR certification preferred.

Must be 18 years of age. Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

Experience: Prior CNA experience preferred
