Description:

Raytheon is seeking a Systems Engineer to support software systems development and maintenance. As the Systems Engineer you will provide technical direction and clarification of requirements to software development teams & test personnel. You’ll perform system engineering analyses including trade studies, algorithm development as well as requirements definition and derivation, interface definition and requirement validation and verification. You’ll also work to develop and improve an advanced satellite ground system and support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning / development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract

• Experience developing and maintaining Requirements, Algorithm Description Documents and User Manuals

• Experience performing functional decomposition of requirements to meet system and domain level needs

• Experience participating in system engineering artifact reviews

• Experience conducting performance analyses, risk analyses, and trade studies

• Experience supporting Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) technical approach to systems

• Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps development methods

• Experience working with requirements in DOORS or other requirements database
