Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is initially for a period of three months, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in quality assurance and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate inventory for potential revival based on defect categorization, measurement verification, and compliance with design requirements.

• Record essential data for each item using digital tools.

• Collaborate with production and quality teams to update measurements or dispositions as necessary.

• Prepare and submit Material Review Boards (MRBs) as required.

• Gain expertise in specific product indications, measurement systems, and acceptance criteria.

• Provide weekly updates on project progress and completion status.

Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship required.

• Experience with initiating and reviewing MRBs for Non-Conforming Material preferred.

• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and First Article Inspections (FAIs).

• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and process adherence, balanced with the flexibility to meet operational needs.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective action methods.

• Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to lead projects of moderate scope effectively.

• Quality auditor experience is an advantage.

• Capable of providing guidance and direction to team members.

• Proven leadership capabilities in managing projects and initiatives.

Contract Details: This is a temporary contract role for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
